Like most American feature-length movies it's about 5 minutes of genuine material, padded out to 90-110 minutes.

It’s 2024 and none of the things the film predicted have happened.

It was unfortunate that it couldn't deliver more bite at the time.

@ArgusEyes I know that. I'm just making a sarcastic observation.

Except that July weather in March means a sea of humidity and sweating your ass off 110 degree heat in July itself, more and more often, and droughts, which we are getting more often. It hasn't rained here in months. Construction workers were not too happy with the weather because they knew what the could mean for this summer.

Weather vs. climate fallacy. We had July weather in March here in Canada, what do you say about that?

Reminds me of The Simpsons skit with the Al Gore book.

I've watched the film and I have to agree with the good Dr. Al Gore is so dull and monotone that he makes John Major seem rock n roll

Matt and Trey had the same thoughts. They also regretted mocking Al and not taking it all more seriously. I bet Mark does too

It takes two & a half minutes for the review to start & then Kermode uses the rest of the time to say that this isn't a film, it's a lecture. Mayo actually has more of relevance to say during this. For much more detail, I'd strongly recommend Naomi Klein's excellent book, This Changes Everything: Capitalism vs the Climate.

Yes, the best science in the world vs. a science fiction author. Whatever.

issues aside on whether its movie (as in my eyes it is one), this is simply put the worst film i have seen in my entire life. i was forced to sit 90 mins of 0:27 - 0:32. the animation at the start (which lasts for 30 seconds) and his opening joke is the only gud bit. From there on till the end its very zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. i understand global warming is terrible but droaning on about it for 90 mins isnt gonna get me interested. i care even less than i did b4. im never watching this again!
