Most guys who advocate for the MBT-2S say the same thing "90% of the trigger for 50% of the cost". It's basically a copypasta at this point. I've seen several guys say they only buy MBT-2S triggers, not because it's better, but because it's almost as good for a lot less money. Triggers are largely preference, but the general consensus is that Geissele triggers are superior, though a far worse value for money. It's also worth noting, I'm talking about SSA or SSA-E tier triggers, not the G2S. Most forum posts where people say the MBT-2S is better are comparing it to the G2S.

With sights like these, you kind of want to mount them as far out as you can. Obviously, putting your sights on your handguard isn't awesome... but you'd have better effective accuracy by putting the thing out as far on the handguard as possible. Even though that won't change the effective radius of the sight unit itself, you'd still be getting the benefit of an increased *overall* radius (since your eyes would simply be further away from the unit).

I'm still of the belief that Mark is actually incredibly intelligent and in touch, and has an incredibly detailed and nuanced online presence that presents this dorky, deranged texan boomer - but he's actually a mastermind. Like, he sold out the C-note the first day. Who's the real nutjob? Us, or him?

Have a LaRue mount on my new VCOG. Seems well made, with an impressive attention to detail. Nice to know where it comes from, Hop.

Just curious, try mounting it out on the handguard, about the distance you'd hold a pistol. This is LaRue after all. The man is specific in his design intent.

The Living Daylights is still one of the best Bond films, greatly under-appreciated. Dalton was a great Bond as well, but audiences weren't ready for a darker portrayal. I saw it seven times in the theater, we had a $1 theater where you got to watch two movies-they were movies that were late in their run and left the major chains, but before they made it to video. The soundtrack was really good, A-ha's theme was great. Maryam D'Abo was gorgeous and we got to see the beautiful Walther WA 2000 sniper rifle.

I a big Larue fan, but was confused by this product. What if you put it at the end of the handguard at arms length pistol site distance? Would it be easier to aquire? It would look weird.

Here’s a nice copy of a post I saw from a 3D print knock off of the c-note on Reddit. Enjoy: “Have you ever wished your AR had the sight radius of a glock 26? Have you been lusting over the new Larue C-note but cannot afford it because you blew all your cash on cocaine? Ive been there, so has my wife's boyfriend, and so has Mark Larue. Introducing the new C-word, from Larpe tactical. Just like the original, you dont have to worry about dead batteries. It may not be obvious at first, but having a shorter sight radius is superior to a longer sight radius. It is hard for me to articulate why, because I have been awake for 4 days straight. The Lape C-word, for when you need to make the money shot, but you have no money. Anyways, it has set sail, happy printing.”

15 years ago, Larue Mounts were one of the few that could be counted on when it mattered. They have really stood the test of time, because although there are better options, they are still a great option today. Also, their Stealth uppers were excellent. They were extremely accurate and came with the best quad rail of its day. I still have a 16" and 18" with the 13.2 quad rails that was purchased in 08. That being said Larue has really taken a back seat and have not stayed on top of the wave of change. Their trigger is excellent, especially for the price. To call it better than a Geissele is subjective and an opinion. I disagree with that opinion and thats okay. There is nothing wrong with agreeing to disagree. Geissele triggers are superior to the Larue if price is taken out of the equation. On the other hand, if you are on a budget, the Larue cant be beat for a two stage trigger. As far as the C-Note? Well Ill just say its as wrong as two men taking a bubble bath and proves how far behind the power curve Larue is. Its right in line with the leather handle they make that attaches to your scope and acts as a carry handle. I dont know what happened, but its obvious they have dropped the ball. There is a reason why they were held in high regard 15 years ago and now they are not even talked about.

@@Pompomgrenade If you dont think Mark Larue started his business to make money then you are the fool. If they are truly coming out with shiit kit to mock the firearms industry, they are the fool. Either way this world is full of fools and that includes the firearms industry. A great example is me wasting my time responded to a fool, so I guess that makes me one as well. P.S. Mark Larue is a narcissistic POS. He doesn't do anything to help anyone other than himself.
