As a die-hard Lakers fan since the original Showtime Era, I hate to correct this clip, but at 0:03 Pat Riley's guarantee that The Lakers would win the NBA title again came in June of 1987, not 1989 as the graphic indicates. In 1989, the Lakers lost to the Detroit Pistons in the NBA Finals on their quest for what would've been a 3-peat, in which, thankfully, he did not guarantee. BTW, that Pistons' NBA title was the first of what would be back-to-back NBA titles for the Pistons (1989, 90).

Hannah Davis (the DIRECTV Genie and SI swimsuit model) should dump Derek Jeter and date (and bang with) a REAL CHAMPION and class act like Mark Messier!!! I'LL GUARANTEE IT!!!

I love it…the NY Media was roasting/mocking him one minute (calling him Captain Courageous’), then ‘blessing’ him after leading his team to victory. So typical.
