It matters not whether Williams Jnr. ever becomes a pro snooker player - this is just quality time between a dad and his son. That's precious. I used to spend hours playing darts with my dad in the hallway of our old house, every Sunday evening we'd be out there. That's how you build a lasting bond.

Same. I played my dad at snooker all my life til I was 38 when he died suddenly. I never won one frame. I think my highest break was 21! He never gave me even a hint of assistance, only buckets of encouragement and I’m sure he’d have loved to see me win. I defeated him at chess though.
