In a sports fight, you can sometimes try to cheat your opponent. If you want to win sports, you should learn to brand your kicks.
Marking is to make your opponent think that you want to kick a front kick, for example, and consequently kick some other technique, for example. For example, high kick.
You can also trick your opponent by suggesting you kick a low kick and consequently kick a high kick.
In the video, I showed three different digging options. Of course, there are many variations on how to mark other kicks. I focused on three variants:
1. Marking high kick through low kick.
2. Marking high kick through front kick.
3. Version with falling high kick.
You can learn how to mark high kicks by training lower kicks first.
Such techniques are not worth using in self-defense, because they are much easier and more effective fighting techniques.
Such kicks should be used during karate, taekwondo, kick boxing or MMA competitions.
