The Marmalade were one of the most popular bands of the 1960s and 1970s, scoring a host of hits including "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da" and "Reflections Of My Life" with original singer Dean Ford. Dean left the band in the early 70s.
In 2009 broadcaster Hugh Brown spoke with original member Graham Knight and lead singer Sandy Newman at The Minto Hotel, Edinburgh, on 1st August 2009 for a chat. This short programme also features acoustic unplugged versions of two of Marmalade's hits, "Rainbow" and "Lovin' Things".
Interesting facts - Marmalade were the first ever Scottish band to top the British charts! Former member, Junior Campbell, went on to do the music for Thomas the Tank Engine!
