I am not concerned for Marc at all. If they don't give him the factory Ducati seat, I would rather see him on a RS-GP leading Aprilia to take down Ducati than to get a GP25 and not have full factory support. Either way, I think he can win on both bikes.

there is no way ducati won't give him a factory bike for 2025. it's just a matter of if he moves to ducati factory or stays in gresini. the marketing aspect of marc marquez for ducati is huge. that itself is worth hundreds of millions of dollars to ducati. bez, enea or martin have virtually no sway to sell ducati bikes worldwide. having marquez in red is a huge deal.

@@joashmanningIt makes no sense for Ducati to give him the best bike if he's not in the factory team. That would make sure their rider won't win the championship.

@@RogerioCampanhol errm, what are you talking about??? ducati have given jorge martin a factory bike this year. so what exactly do u mean it makes no sense? KTM GasGas has factory bikes. Martin's 2024 bike is a factory bike. So what makes Marquez getting factory bike in 2025 a big deal|??? it's n ot even rare in motoGP haha.

@@joashmanning MM is not ridding the best bike and and he's as fast as JM and PB (if not faster) with only 5 races with a Ducati bike. Ducati wants to keep the #1 on their bike and they know PB is not as good as MM and JM. By giving MM the same bike as the Factory Team for a satellite team is helping the rival, even if they have the same bike brand. Ducati WANTS to have the best rider possible to be unbeatable. They could have JM, but he doesn't have the same appeal as MM for marketing purpose. Far from it. MM would be a fantastic asset for the Brand. Not only for Ducati, but for Audi as well.

@@joashmanning Giving him the GP25 is not enough, Marc wants full factory support. You do know Gresini only has 5 Ducati technicians right? Unless Ducati gives him at the absolute minimum another 10 technicians on top of the existing 5, you cannot possibly compare that to effectively a full Aprilia factory worth of engineers. Of course I know the marketing is a huge deal. And quite honestly Ducati has next to no say considering who owns Ducati now. I am pretty sure Audi would be putting maximum pressure on Claudio to pick Marc. But, if for some reason that falls through, Gresini is not an ideal situation for Marc as he would be taking a backseat watching Martin being promoted to be the made-man of Ducati and getting full factory support. In that scenario, I do think Marc would be better off being the frontman of Aprilia. Plus, he wouldn't have to hold back anymore on the track because of Ducati riders politics.
