My marriage advice is focus on changing yourself, not the other person. Also, keep your parents and siblings out of your fights. Women especially run to their parents in fights with their Husband. You will move on, but your parents will remember what you told them about your spouse. So, keep arguments between the two of you.

@jenniesmith9788 HI Jennie! I mean, we can't change the faults we see in our husband. We can't make them do anything we want. Wives and husband's both fall short and have failures. I mean, focus on changing yourself to be a better wife....you can only control you. So many times in marriage, and womwn especially....we try and change the other person. We can't change or control someone else. If you need more reassurance, words of affirmation may be your " love language ". You need that from him....but, you can't make him say those to you. You don't change what you need, but you work on being the best wife you can...because you can only control you. If you have expressed your need for more assurance and he doesn't give it, then take it to the Lord. Nagging won't help.

Marriage advice that has helped us in our 17+year marriage is understanding that who you married on your wedding day is not who you'll be married to in X number of years. God has big plans for the growth of you and your spouse and allowing your spouse and self the space to grow into that future warrior is vital. The friction comes in making sure you stay unified, on mission and growing TOGETHER as well. There will be times when God is stretching you in an area and you'll feel vulnerable. Invite your spouse into that space and ask for prayer as you grow. Plus LOTS and LOTS of laughter!

I really liked this Q and A. I think some people have the idea that you have to "wow" us to keep us watching. I actually like the day to day things. What projects you work on? how you spend your time? What does Tiffany do? Does she have projects? Are you learning new skills? It would be neat to join you in learning that even if it is just someone coming over to teach you how to cook something. There is enough drama in the world around us. I enjoy watching as a break from the drama on the internet. But then again, that just may be me.

My advice for a good marriage is to make sure you’re growing together. It is very important to cultivate your own identity and nurture that, but ultimately you’re a team so you need to “check-in” with each other and make sure you’re still rooted together. When issues do arise, there’s no shame in seeking counsel from your loved ones, they see you from a unique perspective and should be invested in the success of your commitment to each other. Always choose kind words. Even if you’re the most angry and hurt you’ve ever been, always soften your words. Piling hurtful words on top of an already bad situation can leave permanent damage. Give grace but also expect the same respect in return. All the best to you! 💕

We had been together for almost 5 years at the time, and it had honestly never been a second thought to me. It never even occurred to me that we were as strange as that sounds. We've never had any issues with each other or anyone else for that matter. So I definitely understand!

Marriage advice: honor and love are key. Discuss disagreements and hear each other out. Speak those love languages often! I grew up in a 4 child family but unfortunately our family was not Christian and my Dad was married 4xs, my mom 3xs. I was the youngest and ther only girl. My two oldest brothers had the same mom. I was born 12 years later then my dad's last wife had a son who was 4 years older then me. He and I were close but I did sometimes wish I had someone else to play with and do things with. None of my brothers have much to do with me or my family so sometimes its crummy being the youngest and being left behind. We have 5 and homeschool and are Christians so we are the weirdos in our families 🤣. I pray our children stay close and involved with each other all their lives.

One marriage tip I can give you is to Keep Actively Pursuing Your Spouse. What I mean is alot of time after people get married and have been together for a few years and life gets busy you have a couple kids, both work full time jobs, you have a dog, you will get comfortable and being comfortable is great but alot of times the relationship between the husband and wife gets put to the back burner because everything else is important and your gonna be so busy and very comfortable in your relationship that without even realizing it the relationship is getting neglected. I've always said that catching someone's attention and getting with them is the easy part it's once your married and been together awhile that the work really begins...actively keep dating your Husband/Wife...make it a point to still go on dates just the two of you, bring home flowers and a nice card just because, get her a gift card for a day to pamper herself just because it's Thursday and she has been working all week, taking care of the kids with school and their sports and You thought she would like to go and get a facial and a pedicure, give your husband a couple hours to go to the golf course and spend a couple hours or something that he enjoys doing just because he has been so busy with work and then all weekend you had baseball with the kids both days or was busy with the church for the Easter play coming up and you thought maybe he would like to go with a few buddies to top golf for a few hours....make sure that you actively spend time with just the two of you...I tell people all the time that I flirt more and spend more time now dating my husband then I did before we got married because I don't want to neglect our relationship because everything else takes up so much of our time and thoughts....time you spend with someone is the most valuable thing you can give to another person because time is something you can't get back or buy more of....

I am the oldest of 4 children. I did not get married until I was 29. I miscarried twins before we had our only child, a daughter, when I was 31. We started trying for a sibling for her when she was 18 months old, but it was not in the cards for us. I now know I suffer from PCOS. My daughter suffers from the same thing. She had 7 miscarriages and had 2 stillborn daughters before she was blessed with our first grandson 16 months ago. His name is Bennett, which means blessed one and he is definitely a blessing for our family. They are trying to expand our family, but we will see what our future holds. I hope that she is able to give him siblings because being an only child has been lonely for her. Now that we are older, she knows that soon her Dad and I will leave this earth. We have been married 33 years. My advise is to just enjoy each other, some years will be wonderful, some will be trying, some will be hard but in the end spending them together is a blessing. We try to never go to bed angry with each other and to communicate well so that when there are disagreements so that you can resolve your issues together. Do not be afraid to ask for advise from someone you trust when you cannot resolve an issue without help. If that means seeking counsel to help you communicate better, then get some help.

Y’all should come tour Cookeville TN it’s a 1hr and 16min drive from Nashville it’s a college town but it’s a great tourist destination. And if you decide to come back y’all should try Crumbl cookies they’re so good they have a new cookie every week so you never get bored of getting the same old cookie every time!

Definitely a must to go to Yellowstone and the Badlands. Take a RV, one of the best ways to see both places!

Such a sweet couple. I noticed Lawson has on a jacket and Tiffany has on a sundress. So cute, love your differences and the love you have for each other is so apparent!

In answer to the sibling question… I am an only child and I think one of the reasons I love your family is because of all the siblings :) so yes, I would want siblings
