People have a fit about marrying too quick or too young. It's who you marry, not when. I met my husband at 16, he was 17. It was a blind date and I told my friend that night that "this is the guy I'm going to marry". He asked me 3 weeks later. As soon as we graduated we were married. We were together almost 45 years until I lost him to cancer this year. We had an awesome love and marriage. I thank God everyday for such a blessing. It was definitely A GOD THING!

Unfortunately that is what is happening. Too quick and too young today. It is not like your, his and my parents and others stories where it is something deep. It is now about something different. You can hear it when the stories are told. My dad saw my mom on the station platform way back in the day. He went home to the farm that he helped run and told his mother he had seen the woman he was going to marry. Everyone thought he would remain a batchelor farmer. He had seen her with some people he knew and found out who she was. He approached her father, who chased any man who wanted to court his daughter away, and asked for permission to court her. Permission was given. By the time my dad passed in 2005 they had been married for almost 50 years. She passed on in 2019 after living for almost over a decade with alzheimers. Yet she never forgot my dad and always cried for him. These are the types of marriages that are no longer happening and when people make the comments they do, legitimately. May your husband RIP and condolences for your loss.

As a married man of 23 years, this story really resonated with me. Emotions and physical attraction are VERY potent, but don't always lead us to the person who will spend the rest of our lives with. Sitting back and asking God if this is the right person/decision is a very necessary step; sometimes we don't listen when the answer is "no", but it definitely spares us the eventuality of a bad decision. I really hope the best for George and Candace; marriage and family is not "easy", but nothing that is worth it ever is.

I actually knew I was going to marry my wife on our 2nd date She didn't sense it for a few months. We dated for about a year. I knew my father and my mom dated for 4 years. I thought they might not understand and would say we should take our time. Instead my mother said when it's right you know immediately. My wife and I have been married 40 years this past August. Last week we had the opportunity to spend all our time together it was so good.

Candace is a brilliant, confident, sensible woman. I don’t think 9:37 $$ had anything to do with her saying yes. My husband+ I went on one date. He then went to boot camp( marines) we spoke every day for a couple of weeks. We got engaged within 3 wks. Married 3 months later. That was 53+ yrs ago. Never doubted that decision ever! 3 adult kids, 2 adult granddaughters. Always agreed on the big issues,+ I think when you talk to the person you are interested in, for hours everyday, you get to really know them without the distractions of dates, and/ or sex which can confuse everything! On our 3rd date, my husband brought me to a house he was interested in buying. He asked me if things worked out for us, could you see yourself living here? In another State from where I was living. I was overwhelmed outwardly and said to just buy the house that works for you. Inwardly I already knew. I was a budding gardener and there were more clues in the landscaping of that home! You better believe that I made sure that kitchen was in top condition as he was moving in some weeks later! In the end it was his walk with the Lord, the way other men looked up to him, a few photos that resonated with my childhood experiences that confirmed my decision. 7 months from our first date, I was forever in the arms of my Intended Beloved not to mention with some familiar, neaningful bushes out front as well. ;)

I met my husband on a blind date that I was trapped into doing! We married 3 months later. That was 53 yrs+ 3 children,+ 2 adult grandchildren later! If it’s right it’s right💕

This is what we need more of in the KZitem algorithm. Just reading through the comments put a smile on my face. My husband and I both knew the day we met we were going to marry. I was shocked that I knew and so was he. I would have said yes the first day had he asked.

I am in tears of happiness. I met my second husband while ball room dancing , he saw me and ask if I could marry him but off course I waited weeks before I finally married my husband. It’s the best thing that ever happen to me.

Lovely story. You're very fortunate to have Candace Owens as your wife and mother of your child, but it also sounds like Candace is also very fortunate. Congratulations to you both!

@@deemack341 Exactly this! Plenty of people have no problems saying "I love you" when they don't really mean it. My uncle has never explicitly worded to my aunt that he loves her but not one person can doubt how much he loves her, especially since my aunt can be a real piece of work lol. Actions really do speak louder than words, especially when they're empty words

I moved away for uni at age 22. My best friend turned up 6 weeks later via a plane trip, with a ring. We had a 4 month engagement and got married between semesters 1 and 2. That was over 11 years and 3 children ago. He still fills my hot water bottle for my feet, and I still give him a back scratch at night.

My husband and I met when I was just 19. I knew he was the one for life. We got married when I was 21. Today we've been married 15 years and have four beautiful children.
