Isn't there a major problem with building cities at the lowest points on Mars if someday the planet was terraformed those areas would be flooded and become seas or an ocean?

What are you talking about? Is there some revolutionary new propulsion system coming that will speed up travel time by maintaining continuous thrust for long periods? Getting to Mars now is done by inserting into an orbit by a brief period of propulsion followed by a long period of coasting. The time to get there is determined by the relative positions of Earth and Mars at launch. What is the short cut you expect?

So, as you know, last Sunday was the 2nd Sunday after Easter (the church celebrates Easter from the time of the Western Church/ Rome / Passover until the time of the Eastern Orthodox, about a month later, which speaks to alot of the original greek locations / rituals, etc) At mass I was reading the Episcopal Bible (Im Episcopalean, its a branch of the Church of England) which contains the Apochrypha, unlike the King James version. Its an updated more complete version published out of Oxford U, I recommend it. (and the "lost gospels", those are super interesting, particularly the Gospel of Mary. If you have time). So ~ the 2nd book of Ezra is really a whopper. The 1st book is super short (like 1 page) in the King James version. The 2nd book is EPIC. Def read that, if you can, in stages possibly because its worth taking apart and really studying in bits at a time. Its about ~ ............I mean, its about the end times, but its also sort of a mushroom trip LOL. Ezra meets the angel Uriel, after eating nothing but mushrooms in this field for a week LOL Without going through a book report summary (cough), I just wanted to mention 2nd Ezra Ch 5, which gets into the "End Times Prophecies" (which last up to Ch 16, where he prophesies the destruction of Babylon and more). Ch 5 just jumps right into "concerning signs of the end of days", do read it. Gripping stuff. Specificially: vs 4 ~ If the Most High grants that you live, you shall see it thrown into confusion in the 3rd period (not known what this refers to in the commentary). And the Sun shall suddenly shine forth at night, and the moon during the day. vs5 Blood shall drip from wood, and the stone shall utter its voice, the people shall be troubled and the stars shall fall. It continues, I wont transcribe the entire passage, but it goes on until about Vs 13 with these statements that sound impossble and surely must be cloaked meanings? And, I was thinking, some of this stuff sounds like AI. The Voice of the Stone shall be heard. AI? Vs 6 says 'birds will fly away altogether'. Climate change? Nuclear war? Vs 7 says "one whom the many do not know shall make his voice heard by night and all shall hear his voice". The internet? Chaos, fires, wild beasts. "Women so are menstruating shall bring forth monsters" (vs 8). Genetic Engineering? Chaos after Nuclear War? Typically the implication of "the stars shall fall" in the Bible implies FALLEN ANGELS. Possibly demonic progeny? To me: "the Sun shall shine forth at night, the Moon during the day" implies colonies on the moon / industrialisation to the point where the lights never go "off". I think "blood shall drip from wood and the stone utter its voice" sounds like AI robots. Regarding Mars: look, even if you dont take various lost biblical prophesy seriou, sly, these are realistic problems. How are you going to bring forth normal children, if their food is genetically engineered and their teachers are robots? Are you surprised that the progeny of menstruating women is monstrous? The concept of having AI teachers is a classic case of "The Blind leading the Blind" (quote from Jesus Christ"). LOL How can you learn the secrets of life itself, from a talking stone, or a peice of wood? Just sayin.
