The Marshall AVT 150H Valvestate 2000 is a four channel amp that provides quite interesting tones! In this demo, I try out channels with different settings and built-in FX. No post-processing or boost has been applied, only minor high/low cuts for better audibility and double tracking in the mix part towards the end of the video!
To my knowledge, this head specifically, has long since been discontinued, therefore that's why it deserves a review and a little praise as well. The acoustic simulator provides a really warm sound IMO, along with the clean channel. The "Bright" knobs excite the clean channels with presence and a moderate boost in the high-mids. Also, playing around with the FX is A LOT of fun, let alone very convenient. I'm not big on it's OD channels, but it definitely has its purpose and applicability in Rock!
If you want to hear how the amp sounds in the mix (OD channel), then you gotta wait (or skip) along a bit :P
