I have this amp coupled with the SV212 angled cab. Love it. I am based in the UK and these amps retail here new for UKP £720 - £780, so the value rating for UK based musicians is very good.

It's the same in all of Europe. There's a reason Friedman and other Marshall clones ain't doing so well over here. Most people prefer buying the real deal, especially when it's more than half the price of a comparable Friedman (just an example).

@@sv1201 I saw. That's crazy. That's the normal price (incl tax) in Europe. I guess your price is still excl tax, isn't that how you display prices in US, without tax? Imagine if this was the normal price in US, Friedman wouldn't sell as many amps as they do today :P

Even on 5w ( which is barely any quieter than 20w) this baby will make your ears bleed. Without an attenuator the volume is totally INSANE. Buy one but save your ears - buy an attenuator. (Bugera PS1 works great for very good price)

This is my favorite personal LP 50s. I sort of got it by accident, it was a Wildwood exclusive (hence the top) and it was posted as is for sale with a broken pickup so I jumped on it. Wildwood was kind enough to send me a replacement and it's been my #1 Les Paul. The LP 50s Standard is my favorite of the current production standards. Thanks for watching

In my review of Les Pauls the regular run Gibson USA 50s standard is my favorite, I especially like the gold top personally! Custom makes beautiful guitars and now that Gibson sells Custombucker pickups separately, that's a great potential upgrade to a regular Standard too. Wildwood is like other dealers - zZounds, CME, etc in offering upgraded tops and/or pickup configurations for the extra money but stock Gibson USA is impressive. One particular good value is the 50s Standard with p90s, because the price is still $2799: www.zzounds.com/a--3979398/item--GIBLPS5P900?siid=257867 @@jls8
