Someone asked who cares. Thousands of people care. That’s obviously why you are doing these wonderful videos. She’s 81 now. And still, no one comes close to her abilities and unbelievable genius. How: much longer can she continue……..we don’t know. That’s why we care. Very few who are playing now will be remembered in 100 years. She will. She is an incredible talent. So let’s enjoy her while we can.

A symptom of civilisation is to make posible to sit and enjoy this kind of things. He who asks who cares is very far away from this.

Those who "don't care" can remove themselves from the conversation or the channel. What REALLY nobody cares about is their totally worthless commentary!

As a young performer she was great, magnificent. Late in life she is divine.

Saw her perform this live a few months ago. I believe she was dressed the same way too 😅 I know it’s been said countless times, but she really is a living legend.

I wanna buy a ticket as well but since there were so many cancelled concerts I'm kinda scared to spend my money on it...

Some people are in the prime of their life when they are young and lose it as they get older. Argerich demolishes that stereotype. Tempestuous and musical as ever at age 81!

I have seen her live only twice - Beethoven triple concerto in Saratoga back around 2007 or so, and then again around 2017 for her Prokofiev 3 at Carnegie Hall. Both were life changing

@@ArgerichStan Her Prokofiev 3 is truly a mind-altering experience. I heard her play it twice and both times she just lit the venue on fire. 🎉😮

@@ArgerichStan I am very jealous! The concert I would have loved to have seen was Carnegie Hall 2000. But I was not aware of Argerich at that time. And I don’t think it was recorded professionally.

A superb artist who keeps going deeper (and better) even at her 80s...

I agree. After just one listening, the more recent performance is more expressive and less virtuoso display.

Sloppy? I didn't find him sloppy at all. His last concert in Vienna is just breathtaking. His rendition of the Schubert's impromptu in G flat is overwhelming, even at that highly unusual tempo.

Schumann is perfect for Argerich. I still think L.O:Andsnes recording of the Schumann (along with his second recording of the Grieg) is best in the catalogue.

Martha Argerich seemed to exude more energy and passion in her youth than she does now, in her performances.
