By far, the busiest dubber in history was Martha Mears, who dubbed over 50 actresses. Here are all the examples I could dig up of these hard-to-find films. In addition to being a great mimic (listen how her voice changes to match Colbert, Gabor, Lake, and Hayworth), Martha had an unaffected voice that could be used in many settings. I don't know why her career including only dubbing and radio.
Outside of films, Mears was a popular radio singer and signed a contract with NBC in 1934, singing on several radio programs and also on Armed Forces Radio during World War II. Servicemen voted Mears, along with Ginny Simms, as their favorite girl singers during the war. She also performed and recorded with The Sons of the Pioneers. Mears died in 1986.
Thanks to Ray, Laura, Steven, and Karine for providing info on many of these!
