You should never use duct tape on wrestling mats. They make special tape for wrestling mats

what is the total cost of all equipments for the mma gym.

Prices have probably changed since the making of the video. The mats for a 10x10 will probably be $500+ and will be the most expensive part. The garage floors are unnecessary and was mainly for looks.

Are still liking the mats? I am looking to order some of the Dollamur mats soon. Same ones you have with the connect option and 1.25" think and I believe with 2 they are 10 x 10?

Correct, 10x10. They're still holding up great! Highly recommended. Tell Dollamur to give me some sale revenue haha.

Many thanks! So far so good. They still look brand new after a good amount of use. The bottom doesn't pick up a lot of dirt either from the garage floor. Stays pretty clean!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts man! Looking to get the same exact mats. Quick question, how has the Velcro held up so far? I read someone’s review online about the surface material coming unglued from the foam due to separating the Velcro so often. Thanks in advance for any input or advice you might have.

Happy to help. So I actually keep mine velcro'd all the time so I can't say for sure. I will say that the velcro is very strong. Up to this time, the mats are still holding up very well! 👍

Have you tried doing any striking (boxing / muay thai) padwork with these? Debating between these and puzzle tile mats (meister mma x thick 1.5) Thank you!

Id say a majority of what I do on here is striking, sparring and bodyweight workouts so yes, they work perfectly fine for that 👍. I think the tatami style is too rough and the smooth style is just fine for standup and grappling. I've never felt like I was gonna slip or anything unless you just sweat buckets of water.

@@BeReadySelfDefense So you prefer smooth over tatami? I want to do yoga and BJJ drills on it as well, but primarily for striking / padwork. Does the mat shuffle around with vigorous footwork? Thank you for the prompt reply!
