Comedians today have nothing I like. These people were great. Comedians today have to use foul language to be funny, but not these guys. They always bring great joy every time I watch them, and yes; Dino had one of the most beautiful voices in the planet. Nonetheless, I have to give props to Jerry Lewis for his awesome comedic talents. He was one of my favorites, along with Abbott & Costello, Bob Hope, and The Three Stooges which I can’t leave behind. I have to say that these guys were a great part of my happy childhood. Those memories have been very hard to forget. I’m posting this comment on Christmas, so Merry Christmas to all who read this. Don’t ever forget how much JESUS loves you.

Tim Carr I don’t see why. For those people who have a faith, doesn’t it say somewhere in the Bible that God ‘made man in his own image’? So, to follow that thought, He must have also given these entertainers their wonderful talents in the first place. So why is it ‘blasphemous’ to think that if there IS an afterlife, that they are still using those talents to ‘royally entertain’ their Maker?

@@lindashelley3635 At no time did either of them profess faith in Christ. Jerry in particular was vulgar in the extreme. Without Jesus there is no Heaven for them. Can't stand Jerry Lewis, he was obnoxious about taking up all the oxygen that he could manage to take.Justified, apparently, because during covid, I found out what a nasty bully he was, and how badly he treated Dean, especially when the movies started. I did not find him funny, and he needed Dean to do his act. I definitely did not watch his movies, at a young age I hated his fake voice -- and I was too young for the M&L comedy skits, so I missed the Martin and Lewis videos. When I finally watched them (thanks covid), I realized how very underrated Dean Martin's comic genius was, and his lovely singing. I really think Dean wasted at least 5 years with Lewis, he could have focused more on his singing, and could have done without the traumatizing. When someone as nice and as kind as Dean gets mad enough to bust it up, then he really had had enough. You can see in later M&L videos how much Jerry physically manhandled Dean, to the point of being offensive, but it was his gradual blanking Dean out of scripts, cutting him out of a Life cover photo, changing writers to suit Lewis more than Martin that really did it. Martin blew up finally, and said to him "You're nothing but a f-ing dollar sign to me", and then walked off, did not speak to him for 20 years. Sinatra with his sometimes bad timing, forced a reconciliation, which enabled Lewis to take hold of and control the narrative about his and Dean's relationship. He calls it a "love story", which really makes you wonder about Lewis. People have always asked why Dean and Jerry always ended up in bed together, why Jerry infantilized himself, and people have written papers about homoerotic slants to the movies, and about how absolutely confident Dean was in his straight sexuality, and how jealous Lewis was of his attractiveness to women and to all people. This is not to deny Lewis' talent, but it's a dark talent, which is why he's the Dark Prince of Comedy. Personally I think he would have made a fortune in horror. He did an excellent drag sequence in At War With the Army. He turned down a role in Some Like it Hot, probably due to the rumours at the time of his homosexuality, which included Dean because he was in the skits too, but nobody but nobody could deny that Dean was straight, gorgeous, eye-candy and catnip to women. Jerry was not, he was abusive to his wife and kids, wrote them out of his will. He also made a dreadfully sadistic movie about the holocaust that nobody is going to allow to be released.
