Great interview. I had the pleasure of being the rules editor on both Via Nebula and Hit Z Road. Martin probably doesn't know :)

Lovely interview. Took me briefly down memory lane with spi, AH and Jackson. Car wars was an early staple for me when I was growing up in England. It' s a crying shame that A handful of stars will be Treefrogs last self publication and there was a tense moment in the interview when the topic of stolen games rights cropped up, as it should have. Independent designers put their life and soul into designing, publishing, promoting... Our fun their livelihood so to speak. Good luck to fellow brit Martin with A handful... I shall reserve a copy. Thanks guys for allowing us to meet the makers. A fresh approach and very very welcome. Keep up the good work.

The best interview with my favourite designer thus far. Thanks for the video and for some reason before Man Vs Mepple I always pictured Drakkenstrike as a really young guy with an oversized baseball T-shirt from just his voice in his old videos, ha. Welcome back to boardgame media and great set up.

Great interview. Interesting fact about the seventies board game Starforce; it's where the group The Human League took their name from. One of the game's factions is called 'The Human League' and original founding member of the band Martin Ware was a fan.

Great to see Jeremy back at it! Loved his early board game reviews on the Geek and worried he'd given up the ship after a long lapse. Happy to see this new direction!

Awesome interview! This was so encouraging for me. I am trying to get into the board game design industry and realize I am following in similar footsteps of one of the biggest designers out there. I grew up playing all kinds of games including AH stuff, worked for GW and at a FLGS and I graduated from college with a History degree. Suddenly, that degree doesn't seem quite as useless to me. Keep up the amazing work guys!

Asmodee put up a session report (presumably by an employee) that I thought presents a fairly clear view of how the game shall play: www.asmodee.us/en/news/2016/5/25/first-player-hit-z-road/

Oh so many good games. Age of Steam, Brass, Struggle of Empires, Automobile are probably my favs from him. I haven't played his latest because the themes aren't in my normal liking.

Good channel, pretentious theme song 😄. Martin Wallace’s “London” and “Ships” are two of my favorites 2:55 “Starforce” is the game where my favorite band, Human League, got it’s moniker 18:42 Here he mentions the mechanic I dislike the most about A Few Acres of Snow

14:14 "In fact, the game has been stolen from me." I hope the Man vs Meeple team has enough journalist integrity and objectivity to not make the mistake of assuming that Martin Wallace is entirely in the right without at least hearing the other side to the John Bohrer story.

0:55 "If you rely on the Geek it only goes back so far, but there was a time before the internet and computers..." Why the negativity towards BoardGameGeek Mr Wallace? I think you'll find that BoardGameGeek does correctly list your first game as Lords of Creation (1992), and does in fact list all the games you have published.
