jacob mckinney hell yea man glad it helped. When I was trying to choose a new hammer it was hard to find any good videos that just got down to the point and answered what questions and concerns I had I’ll try to keep making some updates if anything changes with it or if my mind changes but yeah it’s a solid piece worth the money no questions asked

The side puller on this hammer is thicker then the Stiletto. I love this hammer and haven't had any problems with it yet other then the head bolt rusting a little. Took the bolt out and oiled it a little and all done.

That’s interesting about the side nail puller. I love mine on my tb3. I am interested in the Martínez system for my next one.

This kid is full of crap. Yes the m1 side puller looks wide but in the inside it’s actually skinny, I’ve pulled nail heads that are only sticking out 1/16th or 1/8.

Great vid man my dewalt framer is getting real beat up after 8 years thinking about this being a one and done hammer. Stepped up and got a diamond back tool belt and that has been awesome so might as well do the hammer lol.

In the end, a hammer is just a hunk of metal on the end of a stick used to drive a piece wire into wood. Whatever you want to spend on the tool is up to you. (This observation is from a carpenter of 35+ years)

When the covid stimulus package cleared my checking acct. I immediately ordered my martinez m1. It's been almost 8 months here, took a bit of getting used to to adjust from my POS dewalt 22oz deal but boy oh boy this is hands down the nicest hammer that you can buy, there is not a better hammer on the market. Anyone who is afraid of the cost can get damn tennis elbow all day. As much as a career framer uses their damn hammer, it's worth spending the money.

I have been framing since 1970.HEAR THIS!!! Any carpenter who puts his thumb on the back of the hammer is bullshit unless ur nailing above your head. For over 50 years I was taught, wrap your hand around the hammer… be a man!!!

Well good thing if I’m ever nailing above my head with a hammer there’s a nice group slot for my thumb to go if I choose. Judging by your comment though, you must be a real joy to be around on the job site 🙄

How’s the vibration? I just bought one of these cause my arm is fucking WRECKED from my Vaughn and dewalt framers. Serious pain from driving 500+ nails a day so hoping this helps with that
