Great job man. Always happy for people doing heavy squats successfully. I used to be pretty decent at squats. If i wouldve done them for more than a few months here and there, i have no doubt in my mind that i too couldve done this. Not joking when i say i only did them for a few months. High school weightlifting class. We werent allowed to max out due to risks but one week we were allowed to under conditions. Only 1 person could squat at a time while everyone else watched and the teacher, a 350 pound top-heavy monster was our spotter. Before that day i never even tried over 200lbs. And sadly, my right knee was messed up that week, go figure. My time to shine and i could only shimmer. And I still did 350 pounds, proper deep squat. I couldve pushed more but above 300 my right knee was really shaky and i didnt want to risk a catastrophe so i finished the 350 1 rep and stopped. I really regret not doing squats outside of class. I couldve been an absolute monster at squats. Congrats though man. I know that feeling and its such a great feeling. Im genuinely happy for you man.
