5 or 6 combines in the area suffered serious issues??? That puts me into conspiracy thinker mode almost instantly. The size of the steel rod that went through your machine is insane. It makes me wonder why you were able to go right over it when planting? Sorry for all the troubles Andy. Your dad shows his leadership skills by maintaining a cool head, at least in these videos. That's the sign of a true professional. Thankfully, Sloan's had an extra X9 around for you to rent. I hope the rest of the harvest goes much better for y'all. As usual you had some great visuals in this one my friend. Thanks for taking the time to shoot the video and then edit it. I know on top of everything else you have going on, it's a ton of work It's greatly appreciated. See you on the next one.

For a break down like this in the UK we would look to our insurer to cover the full cost of the repair. Its not a break down caused by wear and tear but by a foreign object. Guess its down to your policy but insurance costs enough every year you should make a claim for sure. My heart goes out to you but I'm glad you could get a replacement so quickly.
@hulmestanner

That’s actually surprising to hear. I’m not sure if US insurance policy’s would cover something like that. And a lot of times when a farmer does make a larger claim they’ll likely get dropped afterwards anyways

I keep wondering when it became ok to put a product out there when it's not ready for prime time? It must have been when Microsoft would put out software and then put out a update every othe day, it seems like. Now companies like Deere put out a 100 of thousand dollars machine than doesn't do as well as a older version does. It seems like everything is going that way.
