Marty Stuart deserves every award he's ever been given (and that's a whole lot of them to be sure). 1 year later: I truly appreciate the handful of likes this comment has gotten. Amazing to have something the talented Clarence White owned live on so perfectly. White was certainly one of the pioneers we can say pushed the boundaries of bluegrass to have a rock and roll attitude. I really don't want to hear about The Eagles doing it as they never did it with the country element first as the core, especially after Leadon left. White, in my opinion, was the true progenitor of what others came to label "country rock" culminating in both his later solo work and as a member of The Byrds. Even Gram owes a lot to Clarence who died senselessly in a freak accident way too young, not unlike Gram.

Proof that you don’t need a zillion different instruments or click tracks to have an awesome sound. There is something so awesome about sharing one microphone. Just the vibe of it - like early Beatles.

DAMN! I want to give this performance another "like" every time I re-watch it! I just LOVE Marty Stuart and his Fabulous Superlatives, and this video is a simply scorching Rockabilly number that we're lucky to get to watch.

I got to see three of Marty’s concerts. After every show they come out and meet and greet the public , shaking hands, signing autographs and selling their books and CDs. I love looking at and taking pics of his original Clarance White Fender guitar with the special guitar strap rigged up to bend the strings like a tremolo bar. Awesome musicians!

That music is still being made/performed but mostly smaller venues and stages, maybe at local musician jam sessions. Marty played the Stagecoach Festival in 2013, but he was playing on one of the little satellite stages at some weird time of day. I wasn't able to see that show but I thought he was getting slighted.
