@@CNeal4568 Trust me, the reason you probably found this song is because it's a timeless classic. Trust me talk to your parents they'll tell you about 90s music, especially HipHop and RnB. 20+ years later this music doesn't get old or boring. Music nowadays lasts max 12 months and then everyone's over it. No one was touching Mary, she had it on lock.

Wow, summer of 1992. my fondest memory of this album was being on vacation with my family at a resort in upstate NY. i just turned 19. i had my radio with me, and when i put on my '411' tape (yes, tape LOL), EVERYBODY, was jamming to it-black people, white people, old people, kids, everybody. some people even asked me to start the tape over when it finished lol. I'll never forget that day. Thank you, Mary, for giving the world such a classic album.

I agree. Coming up as a young black women in that era, and a bona fide, club rat, Mary put us party girls on the map. She was showcasing how we were showing up in the club. Fly. Classy. Sweet. Sexy. Streetsmart. That’s how we carried ourselves as ladies coming up in the 80s. And it was so much fun, and nobody got hurt. That’s why memories of the old school are so precious and bring so much joy. The energy was real back then. It was nowhere near as toxic as it is now. Come to think of it, everything was real back then. Just saying.😆 And she still killing it. Just like we still killing it. #ayeeeeee💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾🥊 Ladies, holler if you hear me!
