It’s funny how Cybil always gets upstaged by all her co stars. Bruce Willis, Curtis Armstrong, Allyce Beasley and then Christine Baranski.

I wonder if they could somehow Reboot the Cybill-verse without Cybill… Like Ira & Maryann in the present with Zoey dropping by. That way Christine, Alan and Alicia can work together again and actually ENJOY it this time! AND have Chuck Lorre write it to turn the knife counterclockwise 😈

Point of information.....This is for all those who have Roku, not cable. On the Roku channel, there is a mislabelling of episodes. The episode titled "Lowenstien's Lament" is really the episode about Cybill's agent who died after she fired him. The episode titled "Where's Zoey?" is really "Lowenstien's Lament" where Ira's novel, based on his marriage to Cybill, is made into a movie where Cybill is not very happy about how she is portrayed.....especially when she is slated to play the part. Just wanted to let everyone know that. Hate it when big multi-million dollar companies get things WRONG.

What a shame Cybill Shepherd was so insecure that she couldn't see the goldmine in her playing straight woman to Christine Baranski's genius. So she made everyone on the show miserable, and it was cancelled WAY before it ever should have been--all because Cybill HAD to have more punchlines than Baranski and couldn't handle Baranski repeatedly being nominated for Emmys while she was not. Hopefully some future leading man or woman in a sitcom will learn from her colossal misstep. Unfortunately, so many had to suffer and prematurely lost their jobs because if it.

Maryann was such a trip. Always found her hilarious, she and Cybill make a great duo. Hey Chatting with You, I know this is silly but...do you have a compilation of all the times Maryann calls her ex 'Doctor Dick'. LOL! I always thought it was funny how she called him that, but even funnier when Cybill did it while rehearsing a part for Ira's play in which she was supposed to mimic Maryanne's behavior. Maryanne really hated Richard with a passion in this show.

Who could blame Maryanne? She worked long hours at low pay to put that prick through med school only to discover he regularly had women on the side. Even a huge divorce settlement can't compensate for that level of deceit and betrayal.
