Perfect... I feel so proud being a bengalurian that even our city has such a huge contribution to the chat world... 👏 🙌. One small thing, there is one version of adding a very small scoop of thick dahi as a topping in the end. And that just enhances the whole experience... maybe you can try it sometime.

All ur recipes looks very tasty n i absolutely love the way u make them. Very neat n hygiene. And the tips u share while preparing r really helpful. U hav been the most fav! Coming to this recipe, its absolutely appetizing, exactly how we get here. U can use some cooked peas while grinding for thick consistency. Also, while assembling, no need of too much peas. Masala puri is the brand chat of Bengaluru and Karnataka. Just like how there is papadi chat, basket chat, puchka, aloo tikki chat in different regions of our country, Masala puri holds its identity in Bengaluru and other regions of Karnataka.

Chef, you are on point on this recipe and saying Bengaluru 😊 Yes you should only use the un puffed poori’s for this because you need poori to be crispy even after take the liquid Masala on top. If you use the thin poori then it will be soggy to eat.

I am from Bangalore and thank you for uploading this . Mostly the green colour one is more common. Without chutneys it seems incomplete in flavour. Also, peas should be simmered in gravy and the absorbed peas are very tasty .

Masala Puri or masalpuri I think is a fusion of Mumbai or north Indian and Bengaluru Street food. Like samosa chat or kachori chat which were earlier not so common in Bengaluru instead they may have used unpuffed puris I guess . Being from Karnataka masala Puri is the first thing that comes to mind when it's about chats. Adding sweet is not a good option like you said a big thank you to the chef for making this recipe please do also try churmuri which is the world famous chat in here also for many college students churmuri is the lunch!
