I love that mask! And I remember reading on their website that the cholesterol treatment is a new take on an old school mask that was made in the 90's for people who has relaxed hair. But this one is for us naturals yay lol! Now the creator janelle said that it's a treatment meant for moisture and to help give your hair more life and helps with color treated hair and damaged hair that needs to hold on to moisture in the long run. So it sounds like it's a mask good for transitioners and very dry hair❤😊 yay! Great review chelli! I love the smell of it too! Smells like amaretto to me!❤❤

Giiiiiiiiiiirrrrrrlllll,lol! Cholesterol treatments are from back in the day day when we (black girls) usta get relaxers. At least that’s where I know them from. But I don’t know any other ethnicity that uses them! But good to know Camille is incorporating them in their line of products.

Girl let me tell you...Ive heard you mention Transformation Church for some time now and well, Im on the same boat with finding a home church again and in the meantime, I too have been streaming lol but Ive felt that the streaming sermons from my former church just wasnt doing it for me any more and still was left feeling, unfilled. So I decided to look into TC and got plugged into P.Todds “Grace like a Flood” series and girl smh It tore me up! It’s exactly the kind of substance I needed right now. I really cant thank you enough! For one, being open about your relationship with God, and secondly, for being honest with your journey. Thank You, so very much Chelli! And as always, sending a hug!

Low Porosity hair can’t love protein because of how low porosity hair’s cuticle is. With your hair being finer in texture I would say its medium in porosity and possibly higher in other places if it “loves” protein.
@curlswithlizzz_

Styled Hairology My hair is low porosity and it loves protein. I do a protein treatment every month. I have full type 3&4 hair
@shvonneboudreaux
5 жыл бұрын
heartxinspiredx If you look at the true characteristic of low porosity hair the thicker cuticle makes the hair strong enough and makes it hard for product/water etc to get in or out. When adding protein to low porosity hair makes product absorption even harder. Most true low porosity hair types needs to be on a no protein or low protein regimen. Every 6 weeks is usually what I tell guests in the salon. Also a rule of thumb is usually (not always) the finer the hair texture (not curl pattern) the less layers of cuticle the hair has and the higher it’s porosity. Most people actually have medium porosity which is the best to have for protein moisture balance. Some people think their hair is low porosity due to product build up not because it actually is.
@curlswithlizzz_

Styled Hairology This was packed with knowledge thank you for the response! I think my hair is between medium to low porosity it takes a long time to dry!
@shvonneboudreaux
5 жыл бұрын
heartxinspiredx now that can be because of your hairs density. Do you know Mo Knows hair? She has a ton of hair. While it’s fine in texture it takes ages to air dry because she has so much of it. Not saying that’s the reason but it could be. Also once we rebalance protein in the hair it helps those cuticles close back down and lowering the porosity. Meaning when hair is higher in porosity maintaining it protein helps it hold onto product and moisture better for longer. Also if you’re doing wash and goes try a nice mousse or foam. They dry faster, dryer fluffier and give more body and movement. The Doux Mousse Def And design Essentials Naturals mousse are my 2 personal favs
