Fleming hated Goldfingers brutalist architecture (Trellick and Balfron Towers) so much that he named a Bond villain after him.

The likely reason for Jewish individuals being buried in a mass grave with only a small headstone this cemetery could be related to the tragic events of the Holocaust during World War II. Many Jewish victims of the Holocaust were buried in mass graves after being deported to concentration camps or killed by Nazi forces, and their remains were often unidentified or returned in a manner that did not allow for individual graves. In some cases, mass graves were used because of the large number of victims and the urgency of burying them, especially after the liberation of camps or during the chaotic period following the war. The small headstone might serve as a collective memorial to honour the memory of those who perished, especially if individual identification was not possible. Another potential reason could be the economic or social status of the Jewish community at the time, where smaller headstones or shared graves might have been the most practical or affordable option. In either case, the small headstone could serve as a solemn reminder of the immense loss and the difficulties in providing individual recognition for each victim.

What a beautiful cemetery... I loved the little girl in the stairs we could see quickly as you walked by and the stones put on the tombstone as Jewish people do... And the church bells ringing... Thank you for sharing all of that...
