Friday’s near-total lunar eclipse, the longest of the century and the first of this length in 580 years, was truly once-in-a-lifetime, or, more accurately, many lifetimes.
This video showing the moon, covered by the earth's shadow, was shot in Worcester around 5 a.m. on Friday. The eclipse itself ended at 5:47 a.m. ET.
