Very informative. Thank you very much. I look forward to visiting that area again. Love the area - despite its sad history.

Love your videos! I know that it is already well covered topic on this channel, but can you make more videos about american airborne on D-day? For example stories about fighting around Hiesville, La Delaunay and Les Druires farms, St Come du Mont. I would love to see complete path in detail of Easy company 101st to dead man's corner. Also the fighting that ended up with the knocked out Stuart tank at the place itself. Thank you once again for the great content, I'm planning to visit Normandy next summer 🙂

I haven’t covered Heisville, and les Droueries in detail, but I have done the band of brothers itinerary. I covered the Stuart tank in the Dead mans Corner video.

How about make a video on the actual first landings of D-Day. The US reconnaissance battalions that landed out on the channel Islands some distance from the Normandy beachheads to secure them. It was all part of the Normandy landing and they were on the ground hours before the gliders landed at Pegasus bridge. Even though they did not face any German combat troops they did lose quite a few men to land mines and mines in the sea. Another unwritten chapter of the D-Day landings.

That's on my todo list. The men on St Marcouf weren't there before the airborne at Pegasus.

Was there ever any one charged with committing this war crime?
