Billy and Jimmy were my mentors when I was a young cop in brooklyn. Concentrate on the front sight and Squeeeeeeeeeeeez the trigger I can hear them yelling. During hunting season they used 44 magnum revolvers at Jims house upstate NY. Lots of laughs and some serious stories were told at the dinner table and it was great to be I. The presence of legendary Cops.

Bill was a great man. I am so glad I had the opportunity to train with him . He would train us (ESU) during range time after he was retired. Always a gentleman. He passed but will never be forgotten.

Massad ayoob is very well established and I could tell he always held Bill in the highest regard. I'm glad he got to interview him to highlight a handful of stories and things that made Bill so great.
