She's a GREAT LOOKING old school tractor. Not even a puff of smoke out of her.

The dash, the telescopic tilt steering wheel, the gearshift and the throttle.

We had an 1155 for many years. Ours was turbo charged with a chrome straight pipe. You could hear that turbo whistle for miles!! My dad regrets selling it. It was a great tractor! Nothing compared to what they run now, but in its day, it was awesome.

Looks and sounds one hell of a tractor, been told them masseys were very reliable.

I was 11 years old in 1980, during harvest time, I would get off the bus at home and ride my bike down to the farm and jump in the tractor (either the 1105 or the 1135) to shuttle wagons back and forth from one end of the field to the next and take them to our modern for the time grain leg setup with a covered drive over pit and empty the wagons and go fetch another one to unload working into the sunset, driving great tractors. Your videos bring back so many good memories just watching the masseys you work with. Thank you.

We had one of those when I was young. That was the first tractor I got to drive. We had a 3pt chisel plow that I was pulling to smooth out manure piles that had been hauled out with our truck. This took me down memory lane . Thank you.

We had a new one in 1974. We then bought an 1805. It was disappointing so it went back for a 4840. It could pull the IH 21’ disc then the IH 23 ft field cultivator behind it. And still use less fuel than anything else in red or green. The 1155 would plant or cultivate 145 acres to the tank with 12 row equipment. Also still have the super 90. Still working multi power Some day it will need a new home I hope I find a collection to put her in

I have an 1135. It has the 6 cylinder no cab. Purrs like a kitten. I just use it to pull my 20’ woods mower. Works well. Love your rig. Good to see others still out there.

Hey JT! loved the video. Just wanted to say the amount of progression which your channel has went under within a 2 year time period is just amazing. I remember when I subscribed to your channel around early 2020 when you had 12 subscribers. Love videos man keep on going👍

Looks like you got a pretty nice old 1155. It wasn’t smoking much at all. The field fit up pretty nice, hopefully you got it planted. Have a safe planting season. Thanks for the videos.

Very cool video. Neat to see these tractors. Wish the cab all worked for you. I’m lucky that my 1486 still has a nice cab that everything still works on it. Great job
@danielsacks7152
Great to see! I restored one with a canopy (no cab) with multipower about 25 years ago. Still have it. We advanced the timing, and I had a friend at a diesel shop set up the pump and injectors. It hit 236hp on my dyno with little smoke and blew the back off the pump in the dyno! Then I put 5 more turns in the smoke screw! More power and still doesn't smoke too bad. Looks like you figured out like I did to trade the cast exhaust elbows side to side for duals. After we got it done, we hooked it to a 6 bottom oliver plow in TOUGH clay. Dad was driving it, i asked him why Massey would use an expensive V8 540 ci to gain only 7 hp over the turbo 354ci 6cyl in an 1135. He had the plow socked in and was digging hard with those 23.1x34s. He chopped the throttle all the way back and let it lug, still digging up hard clay with those tires tires at about 700 rpm for a while, then slammed the throttle up and instantly spun out! He said, "That's why, TORQUE! I usually work mine around 1300 to 1800 rpm. My Allis Chalmers buddy couldn't believe that the green range on the tach for working the engine started at 800 rpm and covered most of the tach. His was a narrow band.

The main reason I loved my 1155 was the turning radius. Talk about turning on a dime. My 253 turns the same way. GOOD TRACTORSQ
