Really good review Will Good job My discbine is old so it doesn't have the helper roller , it had a little plate that guides the hay to the rollers but I cut lots of mole hills so I took it out so the dirt could fall out before the rollers. A big hay grower guy that I know has run twin conditioners for 20 years and loves it. Thanks for the vid Will

Have a 9770 with the twinmax head. Love it. Our soil is black, we don't have the rocks and abrasive soil like you. Have very little wear. Great review!

So I got to cut alfalfa this year with a friend, he has a 9770 and we ran together. Man these are awesome in a light crop like that and to not run in rocks and soft dirt is amazing

Pretty sure the going rate is 22 an acre to cut and merge. It might be 24 and just 22 to cut.

Hey i noticed that you talked abit about the engine compartment and i had a couple questions. I seen a review from another guy and he was bitching about how the can for the def inject was too low and was terrible fire hazzard. have you had any problems with fire or anything getting in the engine compartment to burn? If you cut the acres you say.. how many times have you had to clean the engine compartment to keep it clean... Other review i was said it would be full of flammable stuff and burn almost instantly!

I too was instantly alarmed at what the other reviewer noted as a for sure fire trap up under the hood in relation to the heat generated by the DEF system. How often do you clean out under the hood and have you ever found any debris that showed signs of burning or charing? Mr. Kahler did you also see in the other review how it was noted that the crimping system on the Massey was not a good system and that it would plug easily is what I believe he had mentioned. SowersCattleCompany how does that system of multiple rollers/crimpers work for you other than the noted wear on the outsides?

but wait, your cutting hay in hay fiels not rocks in a gravel pit, i dive though the field in spring and pick any rock, dig them out or mark them with a tee post, no need to cut them, it dont mater if the bolt brakes off below the top they come out simple like any other, you use a small peace of pipe and weld in side it with 309 stainless steel rod 1/16th, it shrinks the bolt and hand turn it out all most

Does a backpack blower move enough air to clean those packed places? Or does it have to be picked out with your hands?
