Ryan, at 2/5 and 5/10 deep stack cash, we should be thinking number of streets of value/ optimal value betting first, and deception second. Our Balanced value/bluffing range has some built in deception already, and will keep ppl guessing. We should only be deviating from our optimal value betting when we have a good reason too. I think you understand this Ryan. You just need to study cash and practice until the proper value betting for your hand, the board, and the meta of whatever stakes you're playing is instinctual and correct. THEN we can start mixing the the fancier stuff (overbets, odd checkbacks, etc) as specific situations dictate. I loved the bluff attempt in the last hand. Seeing good bluff spots and taking advantage of them is important at 2/5 and 5/10 because players have learned to fold. But value betting our good hands frequently also balances our polarized sized bluffs ( Like Garett Adelstein.) Those are the sacrist villains for me to play against at 5/10. To sum up: in cash, when in doubt just value bet. Your personality already gives you a bit of a wild image. The bad players are going to call anyway, and the good ones might level themselves. And when ppl made good 2nd best hands, we are going to extract max value. More value betting/clever bluffing gives our opponents the chance to make much bigger mistakes. Make sense?

A day late to view. Sacrilege. Not the degen content i come here for; hectic videos with dogs, video poker, parkour, mush, Caity references, hotel room cuts and a small bit of tournament poker from the viewpoint that I am on the rail is your gold BUT I'll watch it and if you contacted more venues pre tournament/arrival and got video permissions you could do a couple of video formats like this (but utilising your much broader knowledge of tournament poker gameplay) and then your standard craziness looking at a couple of highlight hands from the aforementioned different angle; maximising your content use and pulling in subscribers who like this format as many exist and the more you do the more you'll improve at narrating it but your editing again is pro levels with the eye for detail. I like that you regularly try new things and I've been watching your subscriber count for months and don't understand the stagnation but I watch a gamer on KZitem who was stuck on 96 to 99k for 5months crossed 100k and was up to 120k 2 months later and just celebrated a record year for viewership; must be algorithm related; so hold on you'll get there! Don't become Brad Owen, you're better than that regardless of the subscriber count is what I am saying...but no reason you can't borrow some format ideas from time to time.
@Jealod24

In most of the spots you’re unsure of, you could argue that checking or betting works as a balanced approach… which likely works out to betting those turns 75% and checking 25% of the time. Be careful it doesn’t become an exploit a competent player will pick up on… because while it’s true most of your opponents will be rec who aren’t paying attention, the fact you’re a known player puts a target on your back the average player doesn’t have to worry about… so finding balance is even more important for you. Ultimately raise if you 1. deny your opponent equity (by getting them to fold good hands or call when the odds are against them) and 2. To build the pot in case you win (Matthew Janda). Love the vids, keep being genuine and hey… you know this stuff… so get out of your own head and remember that you won a bracelet while sitting in a car, in a sketchy NJ parking lot, all while being constantly harassed by the cops… and you’re friends with a mush, which has to affect your luck in some horrible way :-)

As a fellow long island highly illegal raked cash game player, who has played with Andrew (great dude), I do not resent a single remark you made about our home turf as you are completely correct that it’s indeed the worst part of New York. It was a pleasure to watch this style video, and you should definitely do them more. The fact you made a fellow degenerate LAWNG ISLAND 5-10 player almost lay down top set on that board is a testament to the fact it was an immensely powerful bluff. We don’t fuhggin fold top sets around hea. Ps, parkour

If they are going to be rakey af, those underground games should give a shit about chip security too. You can easily find those Dunes "commemoratives" you played with for 45 cents/chip online. What's up Ryan. I really enjoyed this format. I myself am attempting to switch to cash games from tournaments. I found some success in online tournaments winning a few thousand in the past year and was able to enjoy poker as a side income. However, having kids and working makes it too hard to play in tournaments. Your life ends up revolving around the tournaments you want to play in, and can sometimes spend hours to just bust before a pay out. Anyway, trying to adjust from tournaments to cash and just donking off. Maybe ill try live instead of online

$25 rate on a $500 pot game can't be beat in overtime unless everybody is a terrible player also asked Jack you can just call in cash games you don't have to three-bet or-fold.. also with those pocket Queens when he makes it 1005 bedding most of the time in a cash-game it's going to be Kings or Ace has occasionally Thais King suited so you're flipping on some occasions and a lot of times are absolutely crushed you could find a full dare you didn't need to call the other 800 and then just fold the flop
