This video is a bit long, but like my decluttering I am putting these videos together quickly so that I can keep the momentum going. Hopefully it is motivating for those who are on a similar journey. I can't wait until it's done to share my thoughts and my biggest lessons in a more professional way. But for now... it's just a record of a journey... that I know now I will succeed at! 100% :)🤸🤸❤

Amazing Michelle!!! I love the way you explain everything...after watching the last few vlogs of your decluttering I have started my own...22 years of memories from hubby and the kids..I find it very hard to get rid of anything, especially all of the kids things...I have also sold on Ebay for probably 15 years so my garage looks like yours with all the tubs....stuff I know will never sell....today I just went right I have to just do something....I chucked stuff, have a donate pile and will continue tomorrow...40 listing's cancelled on Ebay...I feel so relieved already....I have lukemia so have to pace myself but it's 10.30pm and my brain is buzzing thinking about all of the decluttering I am going to do tomorrow....honestly Michelle thanks so much for my light bulb moment....I've been trying to do it for years....something has been holding me back but your vlogs have been just what I needed...thankyou.❤❤❤

Hi Alison, your comment has made me cry. I can feel everything you are saying and I feel like I have been released from a prison of myself - if that makes sense. When I was brave enough to take the first step everything fell into place and it sounds like you are the same. Yes relief... is a great way to describe it. I have been wondering if I should have made these videos as they are so personal but with your comment I am so glad I have and I will continue to. I thought it was going to be painful "letting go of so much" but it has been relief. Please let me know how you are going each day. It's nice to go on this journey together. Take care of yourself in the process XX One thing I will say though, is I watch the motivation video every day before I start. If I don't I slow up and go back to old ways, and start pondering everything. My favourite is Minimal Mom. XX ❤❤

Really enjoying this video - I have the daunting task of sorting through school memories - like you I've done a year by year tub/container, high schooler now so time to go through primary school stuff and I'm a lot like yourself - everything is special in it's own way but I need to be strong and pick the special pieces - so again thank you - really needed this video

Thank you so much. I never thought I would ever be able to get to a stage of "peace" with removing unwanted and unused items from the house. I know this is going to change my life. I wake up each day and can't wait to finish work to get to some more done... I can see the light at the end of the tunnel! - Thank you for your support! X

Wow,looking so good in the garage & the space your making,be able to move around more freely ,decluttering is so satisfying,it's amazing what you collect, but don't use,we don't need it in our lives as we get older.

Yes, as hard as it is, it's also symbolic of the fact that my children are now older teens or young adults and we are entering a new phase. They will no longer be growing each year, or needing equipment, school books, toys etc I think also at my age I know who I am and what I love and use and need - the rest just has to go. It may have been useful in the past but not now and that's Ok! Well that's what I keep telling myself X

Yes, I think ultimately it all will. For the special memories I feel that it's a process that can take a few steps. I have a friend whose Mum threw out everything and she was sad that she had nothing to show her children. I think there is a bid gap between my nothing and her everything LOL! XX
