Great tutorial Leo extremely clear and goes directly to the point And ,, you made this to help out one of your looper students that’s much appreciated by the community. I am trying making a template and a friend told me you can get a good idea of how to set things up by looking at the Sample projects included in LP my friend has a few really good ones by mr Tyson in his early purchased loopy pro 14 projects in total, oddly my one has half and only a couple of the Tyson ones ?? Wonder why these are no longer available Do you have such a template to accompany your excellent tutorials, Thank you once again for this presentation can not fault it wouldn’t fault it.

Thank you, I haven’t kept the original template as I keep updating LP to the latest edition so i just have the 8 included. I create my own so I do not start from template, but please check the videos in the series and if you have any questions just leave a comment and I see what I can do…

Works like a charm. In addition to your example I have put in one more action when the recording begins which is unmuting Digistix. Then when the recording stops I have put in action for muting Digistix. Works fine except that it records (most of the times) a little bit of the next beat at the end. I have not yet found a way to avoid that.

Even with the length set to 1 bar max?
@MrKwinther

@@soundformore Yes, 1 bar. Looking at the wave after the recording, it seems that the recording starts a few milliseconds later and in the end it has captured those milliseconds from the beginning of the next beat. My guess is that the recording starts a little too late when the addtional action is inserted.

@MrKwinther this method is more for recording midi in Digistix, I think you are not going to easily remove that problem with communication between AUv3 and LP… sometimes AudioBus can be faster, something to try on…

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Just noticed your other loopy pro Tutorials wow,, could you tell me please do you have one covering the best easy way to import drum wav loops to sync to the current project and also a tutorial for exporting thank you so much to learn here and what is so important you show exactly where and what to press in order to create within the App,, many others skip simple yet crucial steps leaving a rookie confused and frustrated So yes definitely 5 big bright stars and deservedly so.

Very informative, thank you Leo. Is there something like "quantize during recording" inside of Digistix2?

Hello, thank you for the video. I am very new to loopy pro and coming here from a classical music . Is there any way you can have different time signatures in the same session? Lets say you have regular 4/4 but then you need 2 bars in 3/4 and tham going back to 4/4? Is there anyway to do that kind of thing? Thanks

Well, it is loop based so you can have different lengths per loop and then chain them. LoopyPro is not a classical DAW or composition tool though… have you seen the video on youcompose? That is more suitable for classical needs if you are interested

Please start with an obvious example so we know what you're leading up to.
