I have studied martial arts and yoga for over 45yrs now and recognise a master when I see one. Master Daniel's Tai Che is beautiful to watch, Tai Chi, to me, seems to cover the benefits of both Martial arts and Yoga!

The whole Chi thing sounds woo-woo until you see a Master give a performance and you can't help but observe that it seems less as if he's moving than that he's being gently blown around by some invisible force. Its how I at least can observe 'Chi', this was beautiful . . . . like a dance

Master Daniel Tan's 24 form interpretation is amazing and beautiful. One single detail: Master Daniel never touches the ground with his feet in-step-between, he always make a full and long steps, despite he does the form in very low position. I've never seen this before. Sifu Daniel, thank you.

There is something about Tai Chi which is like Chinese calligraphy where different calligraphers write the same Chinese character with the same strokes but the end products look different. For those who don't know the language, well, it's similar to English handwriting. Our handwriting are all different even if we are writing the same word. But Chinese calligraphy is more than just handwriting; it's an art. I think this performer does his Tai Chi too "textbook style", and there is missing that artistic expression of the art. If you break up each of his 24 movements, they would be good for instructions for learners. It would be like teaching a class of students the correct way to write the alphabets A - Z. But when you string them up and perform it as he did, it does not look quite nice (in my opinion) though you cannot fault his movements.

@Don Mega You're wrong there, as to the Beijing 24, but I was surprised to see him not kick higher after all that planting. I'm surprised I made this comment only a year ago. Look at Yang Chensun's comment up two from mine, that's about my view now. Stylized, exaggerated. Too powerful. Live and learn, get what you pay for.///Firefox/Waterfox and Chrome arrange these comments differently. I notice Master Dan is in Singapore and this video comes to us, says the opening, from Hong Kong. Branch fell too far from the tree?
