@@warriormanny001 I think "hospitalist" is a term used mostly in the U.S. It is a doctor, usually an Internal Medical doctor, who works at a hospital and takes care of inpatient patients. They are generalists, distinct from specialists (cardiologists, etc.) who have just one focus.

praise the lord for your existence and willingness to do this. P.S.: I went through a considerable amount of comments waiting for someone to address this, so after giving it some thought I hope this helps someone as confused as I was.... on the "Rate and Rhythm" segment the stripe looks like it has 4 seconds, not 10 (5 little squares * 4 big ones), so there should be a rate of 9 beats every 4 seconds= 135bpm... BUT the "not to scale" Zack refers to must mean he drew a draft of an ECG with the point of portraying 25cm from side-to-side (5 little squares*5= 25mm=1sec... *10secs= 250mm or 25cm) and the little squares don't actually account for 0.2s. Being those 25cm equal to 10 seconds... you get 9 beats each 10 seconds, which accounts for the 54 beats in 60secs (or 54bpm)
@phairjoy4165
2 жыл бұрын
Okay, I'm glad you explained it because I couldn't get the numbers to work utilizing different methods. 1500 /10 (2 (big squares between R-R interval) x 5 (little squares within the big squares))= ~150bpm. 5 (R-R within 2 secs) x 3= ~150bpm in 6 sec strip. I'm concluded sinus tachycardia. Nevertheless, great presentation.
