Can you do a video about this scenario: You want to change the color of a shirt and the model has some hair over the shoulder so some of the shirt is slightly visible. How do you get to the small parts that are just barely visible?

Hello, am using Photoshop 2021 my "refine hair" option doesn't deliver the correct command it does completely the opposite, after "select subject" when I use hair refine it cuts deep into the subject removing parts that were initially selected anyone that has a solution please share

To further elaborate on the channels method, after leveling you can also apply image by going to image > apply image. Leave the layer as merged, channel as the same channel you're working on, and blending as Multiply. This will increase contrast. You can then go into the channel and paint white/black with the brush tool using the Overlay mode.

You are literally the best thing on youtube for photoshop. Unfortunately, I am staggeringly lacking in Ps skills. Ive been scanning around how to save the image back into lightroom without the fill layer and just the masking i was able to achieve. Ive tried a dozen other videos and they all assume you know how to finish file saving part . Just want to maintain the background and the hair removal i got from using Object selection tool. Sounds simple enough, however I am a step by step person with bad ADD.

This is the most awesome and clarifying tutorial ever on this subject. A clear and comprehensive guide about how to select hair in any situation. Although mastering the techniques requires tons of practice, the way Unmesh introduces the concepts and possible situations is truly a gem. Well done!
