Thanks for the reset tip. I found one of these the other day laying in a parking lot. Luckily it was still open. So now I have a nice lock.

Sir: after watching your video I bought a Master 875d and scrambled the combination number, but took a smart phone photo to record the number in case I couldn't open it. I tried for some time unsuccessfully, until I finally got the knack. Now I can open the lock in 2-3 minutes ever time. Here is my suggestion: I put a magic marker thru the hasp so I can apply more pressure on it after turning the dials, and no pressure while turning. With a lot of pressure on the hasp the difference between the false gates and true gates becomes obvious, now I am an expert....thanks for the interesting video. Update: Now I can open this lock in 30-40 seconds. A real first rate video, thanks.

I did it !! It is a challenge with my boys, whoever does it, the reward will be money. a way to get away from stupid devices, and they see that KZitem is also for learning, maybe some of this could save them from some problem. survival is what new generations need to learn. this is analog, not digital or virtual ... you have to think, hear it, feel it, intuit it. the word for this challenge is, just do it! Thank you!!!

I watched it over and over but this method doesn't seem to work on my 875 padlock. The wheels just don't behave as shown here. My lock looks identical to the one here, except the I and II combination setting marks are recessed instead of raised as in the video, and the serial number has a couple additional digits - 3220BQ. Perhaps my lock is an older or newer (maybe improved) version?

Did you ever figure it out? This video is pretty deliberate in the explanation. You do have to put pressure on the hinge for it to see the difference between whether you got the right/wrong number.

Same here. Mine has the recessed I and II plus two extra digits (also BQ) and every position on all 4 wheels feel the same, so I am unable to crack it after many many tries.

I picked up 3 of these locks in like new condition for almost nothing because they were store returns and nobody knew the combo. Watched your video and had all of them open in under 6 minutes each (must be what the level 6 stands for). Planning on using them on gates to keep trespassers out & other basic low security needs. Tip: instead of using your hand to keep pressure on the shackle, I set the locks loosely upside-down and crosswise in a vise and then hung a heavy chain thru the shackle to apply consistent pressure. Much more comfortable and keeps both hands free to check the dials.

had a family member years ago that was a Locksmith professionally one day i stopped in the shop and needed several keyedpadlocks keyed alike he told me the LASDA ones were the best value so that’s what i bought ? i had never heard of them before that but they did work well for over 20 years and several i used outdoors from time to time i was pretty good about lubing them with Graphite ? and occasionally a squirt of WD40 as i used the on my boat trailer couplers and would often spray the hardware on the trailers with WD 40 as they were usually parked inthe weather most of their lives i owned them
