The second option to create pivots looks weird. I doubt that anyone would use it. But who knows. Thank you for the brief and concise explanation

Agreed, it's rather unusual to be building pivot tables through this Explore menu. I'd think it's useful if someone doesn't yet know what to build and they're jumping to the Explore menu for some inspiration. Thanks for the comment Zakhar!

Hi! To remove subtotals in Google Sheets Pivot Tables: - Click on any cell in the pivot table. - In the Pivot Table Editor on the right, click the drop-down next to each row or column field. - Toggle off "Show subtotals". This should remove the subtotals from your pivot table.

I don't show Pivot Table under the Data dropdown to modify existing pivot table information. Do you have a video on how to modify an already existing pivot table?

Hey there! 😊 If you don't see the Pivot Table option under the Data dropdown, try clicking directly on the pivot table itself. This should bring up the pivot table editor on the right side of your screen where you can modify the existing pivot table. We don't have another video on this topic yet, but let us know if you need more detailed steps, and we can help! 🚀

Do you have any idea how to hide google sheet pivot table +/- expend button of all fields like excel pivot tabular format no any +/- buttons plz tell us

Hey there! Great question! 😊 Unfortunately, Google Sheets doesn’t currently offer a way to hide the +/- expand buttons in pivot tables like Excel’s tabular format. However, you can try these workarounds: - Use Filters: Instead of expanding/collapsing fields, apply filters to show only the data you need. - Create Separate Tables: Break down your pivot data into separate tables for a cleaner look. Hope this helps! Let us know if you have any other questions!

Is there anyways to make the pivot table be in the "tabular form" in google sheets?
@coupleracademy

Hi! Not sure if this is what you're after, but one way to achieve the tabular format is by placing the desired dimensions in either the 'Rows' or 'Columns' section of the pivot table editor, but not both simultaneously. Then, add all the metrics you want to calculate for the chosen dimension(s), and you're good to go.

@@coupleracademy I have figured out. Actually, google sheets is already in tabular form, by default, different from excel (if you create an excel pivot table, you'll see that if, for example, you put two different fields within rows, they'll appear in the same column - but you can change it to tabular in "Design", "report layout" and "show in tabular form"). What I couldn't locate was actually the "show totals" and "Repeat Row Labels". But I found them now. Thanks

Hello, can u please tell me why i cant find explore tool in my google sheet under tools or below ? it is not there at all

Hi! If you can't find the Explore tool, it might be because you’re using a version of Google Sheets that doesn’t support it (like in certain business accounts or older versions). Try checking the bottom right corner of your screen, as it sometimes shows up there as a small icon. If not, you could also try updating your browser or switching to a different one to see if that helps.
