Hi Dave! I love to hear from you! How is the scene over there? I am practicing a lot and trying to maintain my basic chops and remember tunes.

Those students have yet to feel the GOD like experience of playing Power cords wearing skin tight spandex in the classic legs spread rock stance !!! Break out the spandex Brooke !

I do my best to convey the feeling. Anywhere from a basement jam to playing on a big stage, the power of these simple chords is hard to imagine for the students. I mean when I was a kid and heard these chords and knew how easy they were, it was like the sky opened up and I could see a whole universe of possibilities. I don't understand how people cannot hear it!

If you mean by "in time" being a long time I might get there? You make it look easy, but I sort of bump into them accidentally most of the time. I'd like to rock a bit of ac\dc maybe... But I stop around surf? If your going metal shouldn't you push it into something distortion with a dark name like evil bone puppy of death on it? Bonus if guitar is pointy, black, and has humbuckers? Extra bonus, long hair? Bad jokes aside thanks for tips with learning power chords. Hopefully I can get chugging a bit.

We use power chords in Surf Zombies all the time. Let me know if you need a review or anything based on power chords.
