Also helpful that she has good core strength. Many folk don’t have it and that makes it difficult to get the hang properly.

after watching a few CrossFit competitions (mainly to see their rowing) I would say this coaching could make a big difference in competitions as the standard times are down on what youd expect given the strength of the athletes, so technique is obvious key area to improve on.

For sure, some of the engines elite crossfitters have are incredible. There is also the part of just not being used to the machine and not ever being able to be used to it because you’re trying to be reasonably good across all aspects of

Superb video! iv been indoor rowing a few times a week for around a year now and will take these tips into my next session. I’m definitely opening up too soon when I’m really starting to put the power down.

Is best que i heard for rowing technique is: "its like a deadlift." Everything you do in a dead lift you would do here, you gonna keep a straight back, you gonna push with the legs before using the back

Lunging the body into the catch isn’t helpful either. It’s effectively dead time in the stroke .
