This is a great tip and well crafted video, Mark. What I like about so much it’s authentically you and it comes out so well. I think I will stop by and see my mother today who is the head librarian at a local library. Thanks brother 😃

I recommend it Keith, it's a surprisingly delightful personal experience that holds something special that I've yet to know how to explain. Give it a go!

Nice video Mark, very informative. Going old school AKA “the Library”, is a wonderful place to go. You can never go wrong by learning more about your passion. Looking forward to your next episode.

ahhhh...Ricketts Glen is natures stair master. Falls Trail =21 waterfalls = 6+ miles hiked & 17 stories climbed. Ironically, I have been interested in Photography books lately for inspiration. Thank you.

You had me laughing upon reading your words - thank you, I needed that. I get the feeling you also have a love for this geological gem of a place, all 21 falls, 6+ miles, & 17 stories. 😛 Love it! 👍🏼

I had a paper route in that area when the library was first built. Amazing how much larger it has gotten over the years. I think I have donated more photography books to my local library than I've taken out.

That is awesome! Yeah, they did quite a nice upgrade. Glad to hear you've given back. I've probably read your photography books. 🤣

I love the distraction free quiet solitude of the library, or a lakeside cabin in Maine 😊. In either case, immersing oneself in the volumes of knowledge publicly available is a wonderful approach to improving one’s skills as well as developing general broad knowledge of a subject. Pumping Gigabits of info through the internet and doomscrolling is not necessarily always the best approach.😊 I have a few books that I think you’d like, and you are free to borrow them from my personal library. I’ll shoot you info on them.

Thanks for sharing those nuggets of wisdom Rick. I particularly like the lakeside cabin in Maine idea! The intent of this video was to inspire fellow photogs to consider how doomscrolling can restrain the art of learning photography. Your comments compliment, and reinforce the concept. Love it!
