Hey Pete. I'm relatively new to the channel and GB and I have to say I've learned so much in the past few weeks. I purchased AS and found it easy to use. Do you basically use AS to observe the wave form of the song only? Do you ever use the Normalize tool to complete the Mastering process instead of going back to GB? Thanks for all your instruction and help....Mate!

I’ve been in touch with positive grid and they say they’re no longer supporting the app .. in fact it’s now been removed from the App Store .. shame .. I spent ages learning how to use it and now it’s gone .. thinking of giving grand finale a go ..

It’s looking really bad for iOS these days with gadget also taking a major hit as well .and that means apple is disenfranchising folks to the point of affecting our work after going all in with iOS ? That’s criminal. And it shows that apple could care less about folks who use it everyday everywhere. The company’s can no longer be trusted . That’s about as bad as it could get. 😤👽

Hey Pete, thanks for all the great tutorials! I also love the sound and message of this song. I found it on YT Music and added it to my library :) I have a question for you: I recorded and mixed a song in GarageBand for iPad. I’d like to try some of the online mastering tools to at least compare it to what I can do myself. I’m also making a whole album so I want to make sure each track sounds consistent. However at least one of the sites (Cloudbounce) asks for -3db to -6db headroom in the file before uploading. Since GarageBand auto-normalizes, how can I create an audio file with the requested headroom? Is there another app you recommend for me to adjust the level after I mix in GB and before I upload it to Cloudbounce/LandR/etc? I tried uploading a sample of the normalized GarageBand version of my song to LandR. To me it sounds over-processed, but I am new to music production so maybe it’s actually ok. I just want to make sure I cover all my bases and do things “the right” way to be on the safe side, since I’m still developing my musical ear :)
