Very helpful. This is a video I will have to visit more than once to be able to benefit from it. But I can tell that if I follow your advice I will be better off for it. Thanks,

This has to be one of the best if not the best tutorials on Lightroom Classic I have ever watched John, congratulations. Your detail and style is equal to Julieanne Kost. I would love to see a dedicated video on creating the various types of presets for importing etc and how you use them. I will be going to see what other videos you have and watching them with interest. I started with LR version one and upgraded through all the versions and thought I knew a lot about LR but, you have covered so many useful details and organisation options that I will be looking at incorporating some of these that are not already in my workflow. Thank you very much John 🙂

Thanks for the encouragement and I have noted your suggestions for a future video. While I was well into the weeds of making this video it felt like I had made the topic too broad for one video. My idea for future videos along the same lines is to break them down into smaller videos on more specific topics - just like the one you have suggested. So thanks for that!

Actually, the color labels are 6=red, 7=yellow, 8=green (not blue), 9=blue. There is no keyboard shortcut for purple but you can enter it by tagging the color on a photo or photo group

Thanks for picking that up, I'll see if I'm able to apply a correction tomorrow.

@@JohnDooganphoto Most welcome. And thanks for the video. I've also been using Lightroom for several years but I still picked up a couple of pointers from your presentation.
