I love innovation, but at times i think the old saying of it aint broke dont fix it really is true

I hate that saying but this belt really does look like a solution for a problem that doesn’t exist. To me it seems like it’s different just for the sake of being different. Personally I wouldn’t pay 200 plus for a design with so many potential flaws.

You literally took the words out of my mouth. This just looks like something that GBRS would push out there. I also think Fish showed extreme restraint for this review. Could have trashed this back to the trailer of which it came.

@jlew6890 matbock were super willing to do an interview following the PC video and I don’t take that openness lightly. I also have to believe based on their business model that someone somewhere asked for this and was willing to pay for it. I don’t understand why but that isn’t their fault.

This solves 0 problems. First being, if you even have the money to buy 2 belt setups worth of gear, you shouldn't be worried about buying multiple belts. Second being, if you chose this belt you're saving potentially $50 by buying a second cage vs a second belt.

I feel like the cage is a bit short and may not hold all of my gear spaced where i need it. Perhaps thats just how it looks. At first glimps i also feel like the inner loops where the cage connects to the belt would be uncomfortable for long movements/ week long use with full kit. I do like the Ridgidity and the concept of having multiple cages. Just not sure the product is there yet to justify yhe price. Also a real selling point is the harnes connection, and that seams wildly priced for the amount of hardware and webbing it is.

Even if 2 load-rated/properly tested outer belts cost more than this, the end result will be soo much better that IF you're that guy who needs multiple setups of rated belt setups, you're gonna spend the money. Or just look at the way Raptor/Twin needle does belt sleeves or look at the way AXL does their new cummerbund panels.

If you’re gonna have a belt that thin you don’t need weight bearing, you’re not gonna have pouches big enough to warrant it. This is a solution to a problem that doesn’t exist

Is it though? How often are people really changing belt load outs? Just buy a second outer belt at this price point.
