takes me right back to my childhood , playing with these on the hearth rug in our livingroom . offered alongside it's competitors husky, ( made by corgi toys, and sold mainly in woolworths stores) i think they were around the same price though , 2'6. as a kid in short trousers , i was often bought these, as an alternative to the other die-cast cars such as corgi, dinky , tri-ang spot on or the matchbox kingsize. as these were cheaper to buy, and were very attractive little cars.

these are the ultimate toys, as they were shared through generations! Even though modern fabrication processes can even produce better detailing it's no longer so desireable as these former ones.
