It is my understanding that the kit in the box as it is, represents a metal hulled Mk.I Walrus, the silver marking option for HMS Sheffield whilst the camo bird is an RAF wooden hulled Mk.II. Matchbox was probably trying to cover it's bases with the marks they were trying to cover in the kit with Mk.II on the box and Mk.I on the instructions. The colour callouts are for Humbrol colours from the Authentics range. From research the canopy is incorrect and there is a direct replacement canopy available. The kit is missing a lot of details not to mention the actual differences between a Mk.I and Mk.II Walrus. Mind you, built OOB (Out Of the Box) it most definitely looks like a Walrus and is a fun build apart from the drama that can be caused when attaching the upper wing. It really depends how far you want to go with your build, be it nostalgia OOB or as accurate as possible with scratch building. Either way have fun and I'll look forward to your build vid.

Some Matchbox kits are gems, this one looks nice. Some are like the Stanraer I built which made me swear a lot :)

Amazing kit. It has a quality between Tamiya, Arma Hobby and Eduard.
