Thanks (I wrote it 1:05-> :D)! Actually, it's basis lies on a pretty simple 4-bar dominant sevent chain idea, just moving the harmonic centre all the time. Hard part is to make it sound like the melody defines the harmony when creating the whole kind of backwards (although the stuff gets done pretty much all at once). Sorry if I ruin the music with the analysis, don't forget Bach's music still ingenious despite all the musicologist's babbling. Tuning: Drop-D on background, standard E on lead.

Morjenttes! Kiva et tykkäät soundista. Mul oli näissä vedoissa käytössä Chandlerin Tubedriver -> Hughes & Kettnerin TubemanPLUS -> TC Electronicin Finalizer -> Sony V77 -> Mesan 20/20 pääte -> Carlsbron 4x12 60w elementeillä.

Tää biisi löytyy kokonaisuudessa meikäläisten orkesterin, Fist in Fetuksen tuoreelta EP:ltä. EP on kuunneltavissa joko myspace/fistinfetus tai mikseri.netistä. Tuskin tulen noita muita biisejä levyttämään...ehkä=D

I didn't like the effect he used. It sounded like a guitar/keyboard mix. Good choice by the way for Strato. He plays different that Tolkki, but he has some parts in this solo that sounded like Tolkki's style. Personally, I don't think he's the next Steve Vai or something like that. He's just good, plays very clean, has a very great technique and he's creative (he used a lot of notes that sounded off-scale). Not like Petrucci, he's TOTALLY different, but this guy is influenced by him too.
