Here's a quick look at one of my simple matrix moulds. I 3D printed the shell and lined it with epoxy to remove the layer lines of the print. I do this to ensure that the silicone is seated correctly when inserted and to avoid any slight misalignments. I also printed two stands/ feet for the mould to be quickly inserted into when casting.
Materials
3D printer filament for the shell is ASA from FormFutura
Epoxy for lining the printed shell is XCR epoxy coating resin from Easy Composites
Silicone is 1-2-1 Easy Mould from DWR Plastics
Polyurethane resin is Xencast P2 from Easy Composites
