WHY can't we learn this with a spreadsheet and its handy plug-and-chug formulas? I'm assembling one now for sanity's sake.. For instance, 1st term would be (AR1C1)(BR1C1) + (AR1C2)(BR2C1) + (AR1C3)(BR3C1) for a 3x3 matrix...if I've understood correctly!
@jasonjacksonii1805
4 жыл бұрын
Hi I'm by no means a mathematician so if I'm wrong please say so and help me understand why I'm wrong :) You still could multiply a 1x2 and a 3x2, if you converted the 3x2 to a 2x2. You could do that the same way you demonstrated in the first example, which would be to multiply the 3x2 with a 2x3. Since we can multiply anything by 1 in math, would we be able to multiply like this vvv 1,4 1,1,1 2,5 6,15 1,1,1 x 3,6 = 6,15 which would be a 2x2 and capable of multiplying with a 1x2.

Still not getting it. Show it being used in a real world application PLEASE. Then I might see an app for it. Boolean arithmetic I get, and have used it extensively when designing logic circuits.
